bye bye stumpies

Put in my 2 weeks at the Stumptown. Going down to SF for as long as it takes me to save p some serious cash for the nest move. Brooklyn. Booyah, I miss the east coast. My last day there, is the last day of the year.

the move, and then another move.

So it is official. I put in my two weeks at Stumptown Coffee Roasters. I will be heading down to San Francisco by January 4th, 2007. My last day is the last day of 2006, I thought it was appropriate. I will miss many people, and the beautiful coffees there, but I need to follow my heart for sure, and this is the right thing to do.
After San Francisco, we are heading east to New York. Home. Mae is applying to 4 graduate programs and Teach for America and she wants to be placed in Brooklyn. So if everything goes according to plan (it has been known to not happen before) we will be out in our beloved east coast by end of August at the latest. I have no plans as of yet, with what I will be doing with myself, but I have a feeling art is gonna creep up on me again and if you know NY, you know there is plent of photographing to do, and plenty of inspiration.
I am excited to be close to family, and close to friends that I consider family. This is the best part of it all. Because no matter, where you are, or what you are doing, or who you are doing it for...what matters is that your heart is in it, entirely.
All righty, there is a new sherriff in town.

so...coffee geeks. tell me what your favorite coffee growing region is and why.

tell me what your favorite coffee is and why.

if it is a blend, name what the blend consists of.

peace out, and out.
